INSTALLATION DEPTH
Want to install the Joulia HRV in the structural floor? No problem! The installation depth is only 12cm. This includes an integrated siphon.
REMOVABLE
Would unexpected calamities arise? The shower drain heat recovery unit can then be completely dismantled. You can even remove the copper heat exchanger completely. The copper pipes can then be removed and replaced separately if necessary. So no annoying demolition work!
SECURITY
Do you want certainty? Then Joulia shower drain heat recovery is the solution. In addition to a standard (mandatory) leak detection, the heat exchanger has an additional acoustic leak detection. In the event of an internal leak, the end user will hear a signal as an alarm. The gutter also has an earthing point.

WHY HEAT RECOVERY FROM SHOWER WATER?
Saving energy with a shower heat recovery has been a proven sustainable technology for years. However, due to the energy transition, shower heat recovery units will play an even more important role. The technology is often combined with a heat pump for more tap water comfort.
With a gas boiler, the flow of hot tap water is infinite. However, with a heat pump you often have a 150 to 200 liter boiler. The hot tap water in the barrel runs out after a few showers. To have hot tap water available for longer, you can install a larger vessel or install a shower heat recovery unit.
This heat exchanger uses the residual heat from shower water. This heat preheats the cold water towards the cold port of the shower mixer. The water temperature at the cold point rises on average from 10 degrees to 25 degrees. The shower mixer tap needs to draw less hot water from the barrel to reach the desired shower temperature. The barrel is therefore emptied less quickly and the available shower time increases.
