The Shower Pipe WTW VX Quattro is for situations where there are many showers. Think of utility buildings such as hotels, swimming pools, hospitals, sports facilities and campsites.
- 30 to 60% energy savings
- Easy and quick to assemble
- Virtually maintenance-free
- Multiple units can be connected in parallel
- Complies with European NEN-EN1717
- 100% recyclable
- Easy to handle due to light weight
- The device can also process waste water under free fall
- Optional: pump pit available and can be equipped with 3 different pumps.
Shower Pipe WTW VX Quattro
The Quattro is a partially pre-assembled system and available in two heights: 2500mm or 2100mm. The shower heat exchanger is equipped with four heat exchangers as standard and combined with a pump unit for the following reasons:
- In many buildings, the showers and the technology room are often on the same floor.
- Maximum freedom with regard to the installation location.
- Sewerage can remain in operation, regardless of Quattro operation.
INSTALLATION REQUIREMENTS
- 2600mm or 2200mm free installation height
- Sufficient free (wall) space
- A frost-free room
- Only route shower water through the units
- Always reheat the preheated water to the desired, set temperature in the hot water generator. The Quattro serves as a preheater for the cold drinking water.
- Place the heat recovery unit as close as possible to the hot water generator to minimise pipe losses.
- Also keep the distance between the pump unit and the shower heat exchanger as short as possible to limit delay losses.
COMBINATION WITH HOT WATER APPLIANCES
You can combine the Quattro with any hot water heater: a plate heat exchanger, a charging system or an (in)directly heated boiler. Even the combination with a solar boiler installation is possible. Because the shower heat recovery works 365 days a year, it is smart to adhere to the following installation sequence:
- Shower heat recovery
- Solar boiler
- Reheater
PARALLEL SWITCHING
Are there large shower volumes? Then you can connect multiple Quattro units in parallel. A by-pass is available for very large peak volumes
